Visa Process

Before traveling to Panama for the FSC General Assembly 2025, please ensure you meet the necessary entry requirements. Check the Passport Index to determine whether you require a visa to visit Panama

General Entry Requirements

To fly to Panama, travelers must comply with the following regulations:

  • Valid Passport – Must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry.
  • Return Ticket – Proof of onward travel to your country of origin or next destination.
  • Financial Proof – A minimum of USD $500 in cash, a credit card, a bank reference, an employment letter, or traveler’s checks. Some nationalities may require a higher amount—please verify with your nearest Panamanian consulate or your airline.
  • Lodging & Travel Purpose – You may be asked to provide the address of your stay and details about your visit.

Visa Requirements

Certain nationalities must obtain a tourist visa before traveling to Panama. If a visa is required, we strongly recommend visiting the Panamanian consulate in your country or checking with your airline for specific guidelines. For additional details, visit the National Migration Service of Panama.

Yellow Fever Vaccination Requirement

The yellow fever vaccine is mandatory for all travelers. However, travelers arriving from Brazil the international vaccination certificate must be issued by ANVISA at least 10 days before arrival. Exemptions:

  • Children under one year and adults over 60 years.
  • Travelers transiting through Brazil without leaving the airport’s transit zone.
  • Individuals with a medical exemption certificate.

Visa Exemption

Any person who requires a visa to enter the Republic of Panama, who has a valid Visa or Residence, duly issued by Canada, the United States of America, the Commonwealth of Australia, the Republic of Korea, the State of Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Republic of Singapore and any of the States that make up the European Union, may enter the national territory. COVID-19 Travel Advisory
