Upholding FSC’s Promise - the ASI perspective

This engaging and interactive session will delve into key aspects of certification, with a particular emphasis on audit rigour and ASI’s role in overseeing FSC Certification Bodies.
The session will provide an overview of ASI’s strategies for ensuring consistent FSC Certification Body performance, including the implementation of risk-based approaches, data insights and technology solutions, and diverse assessment methods. Discussions will also address proactive measures for tackling key system integrity challenges, such as the preservation of Intact Forest Landscapes (IFLs).
Additionally, a panel of FSC certification experts will convene to explore further enhancements to ASI’s oversight approaches for FSC, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and impact, as well as further improvements to the broader FSC assurance system.
