FSC Verified Impact – Linking Corporate Sponsors and Forest Managers on the Value of Ecosystem Services

The session will review collaboration between supply and demand of claims, with a specific focus on guests sharing their experiences from both the corporate sponsor and forest manager fields. This session will showcase: FSC Verified Impact in line with the new FSC Ecosystem Services Procedure and its enabling environment (registry, safeguards toolbox, trainings, marketing, etc.), what value propositions Verified Impact offers to corporate sponsors and forest managers, success stories from the field, and global trends linking ecosystem services with innovation and policy alignment.
Verified Impact is one of the key new products that FSC is introducing and strengthening in its fight against the climate and biodiversity crises. With a focus on biodiversity, carbon, water, soil, air, recreational, and cultural services, FSC’s approach to ecosystem services meets the interest of a wide range of members and stakeholders, as reflected in various previous and current motions and discussions.
