The FSC General Assembly is FSC’s highest decision-making body where key decisions are made. The general assembly which is traditionally held every three years, brings together leaders and decision makers from indigenous peoples, environmentalists, businesses, and many others in FSC’s membership to discuss a responsible future for the world’s forests and the people and animals who inhabit them.
Over 750 FSC Members and leaders from Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations, Trade Unions, Environmental groups, Companies, and individuals came together for the hybrid FSC General Assembly (GA) in Bali Indonesia from 09-14 October 2022.

Bali, also known as the Island of the Gods, is a beautiful province of Indonesia, marked by a varied landscape of hills and mountains, sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and volcanic hillsides. Bali is part of the Coral Triangle, the area with the highest biodiversity of marine species in the world. In this area alone, over 500 reef-building coral species can be found.
The FSC General Assembly 2020 will take place at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua. Located in the South of Bali, its conference centre is the perfect spot for what is sure to be an amazing event.
